What it does
Parent Helper is an iPhone app for a parent who does not read English and finds phones hard to use. Everything on the screen is turned into Simplified Chinese and read aloud, so nothing needs to be read in English and there are no confusing menus to hunt through.
- Read email. It shows email from the last 30 days in a simple list. Open one and the app explains what it's about in a short Chinese sentence and reads it aloud. You can also point at one part of the screen and have just that part translated.
- Understand a bill or website. When an email links to a company or government website, the app opens it and explains, in Chinese, what the page is about and what you can do on it.
- Big, simple buttons. The home screen is a grid of large picture buttons. Each button does one clear task. There is nothing to type and nothing to figure out.
Your privacy comes first
Your personal information — your emails and bills — stays on your phone. The app understands and translates everything on the device itself using Apple's built-in intelligence. It is not sent to any outside AI service and is not shared with anyone. The only thing the phone connects to is your own email account.

您的个人信息——您的邮件和账单——都留在您自己的手机上。 应用使用苹果内置的智能功能，在手机本机上完成理解和翻译。 这些内容不会发送给任何外部的 AI 服务， 也不会分享给任何人。手机唯一连接的，只有您自己的邮箱账户。
